A Russian submarine allegedly fired Caliber-class cruise missiles at targets in Syria, according to the Russian Defense Ministry, the first time the missiles had been launched from a “submerged position,” it said.
This footage shows the Rostov-on-Don and missiles firing from it, although no date was given.
The ministry said the missiles destroyed two Islamic State command posts in Raqqa.
